The third icy challenge
Use the maze against the enemies
Bad Ice-Cream 3 keeps the series’ quick, readable puzzle rooms but asks players to make more deliberate use of the changing maze. Every new ice block can protect a teammate or create the next problem.
Two players can turn enemy pressure into an advantage: one draws attention through an open route while the other gathers fruit behind a temporary barrier.
Core mechanics: make a safe pocket, then escape it
Creating ice is most useful when it changes an enemy’s next decision. A small barrier at the right corner can be safer than a long wall that leaves both players without an exit.
Breaking ice is just as important. Before closing off a lane, identify which wall must disappear once the room’s remaining fruit is on the other side.
- Keep an exit from every temporary safe pocket.
- Let one player distract while the other collects from the far lane.
- Remove walls in order instead of breaking every barrier at once.
New-player strategy: call the next wall before placing it
Say where the wall will go and who will use the opening it creates. This one habit stops a teammate from running into a corridor just as it closes.
Save the easiest fruit near the center for later if it gives the team a flexible crossing route. The last collectible should not force a blind dash through enemy traffic.
Controls and co-op setup
Start from the embedded game’s player selection and follow its displayed key bindings. Review the action key for each player before beginning a level.
Do not box in both players at once. Use one temporary ice wall to buy time, then clear it when the team needs to cross the room again.

Common questions
Do both players need to collect fruit?
No. The team only needs to clear the room, so one player can focus on walls and enemy movement while the other handles a cluster of fruit.
When should we break an ice wall?
Break it when it is blocking your next collection route or when the enemy path has already changed enough for the barrier to stop helping.
