A separate magic-temple adventure
Coordinate levers, platforms, and colored routes
Flameboy and Watergirl: The Magic Temple sends two characters through color-based platform rooms. The level design relies on levers, moving platforms, gems, and doors that must be read as a connected system.
Despite its similar title, this is not presented here as a numbered Fireboy and Watergirl release. It belongs in the site’s similar co-op collection because its puzzle structure rewards the same careful coordination.
Core mechanics: move the route, then move the team
Levers can reposition platforms or open the next route, but the player operating a mechanism may be left behind. Look at both characters’ next landing spots before activating anything.
Colored gems and exits encourage players to divide short tasks while maintaining a shared return path. The right action is the one that keeps both characters able to continue.
- Mark the next safe landing for each character.
- Use a lever only after deciding who crosses first.
- Keep optional gem detours separate from the exit route.
New-player strategy: cross one platform at a time
When a moving platform is part of the puzzle, move one character across and confirm their position before sending the second. This makes it easier to see whether the platform must return or stay in place.
If a room has multiple levers, start with the one that exposes the largest new area. That usually reveals the constraints for the smaller switches.
Controls and co-op setup
Use the controls shown by the embedded game when it starts. In solo play, park one character on a stable surface before changing focus to the other.
Treat each lever as a team decision. Confirm which player benefits, where the platform stops, and how the other character will rejoin before moving on.

Is Magic Temple an official numbered sequel?
No. It is a separate game included as a similar two-character co-op puzzle, not as an official numbered entry in the original series.
What should we do before moving a platform?
Identify who needs to cross, where the other character will wait, and whether the platform must return for the next step.
